Purpose
The OER Advisory Committee focuses on advancing CAAL-CBPA’s strategic goals in relation to OER and to the AtlanticOER Service. The Committee provides expertise and support to the CAAL-CBPA AtlanticOER Lead in defining and developing AtlanticOER services. This includes recommendations and guidance in the creation of clear policies. The Committee also acts as a liaison between CAAL-CBPA member institutions and the AtlanticOER Lead by promoting and supporting OER initiatives at
their institutions.
The Committee also has oversight of the AtlanticOER Development Grants Sub-Committee. It is comprised of volunteer members of the AtlanticOER Advisory Committee and serve as the adjudicators for the annual AtlanticOER Development Grant Program
