{"id":2706,"date":"2022-04-01T14:48:48","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T17:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/?p=2706"},"modified":"2026-05-05T15:11:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T18:11:25","slug":"congratulations-to-our-second-2022-caul-cbua-collaborative-research-grant-recipients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/en\/2022\/04\/01\/congratulations-to-our-second-2022-caul-cbua-collaborative-research-grant-recipients\/","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations to our 2022 CAAL-CBPA Collaborative Research Grant Recipients"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" pl-media-id=\"2327\" src=\"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/CAAL-CBPA_Logo_Email_250x62_72dpi.png\" alt=\"\"><br><br>CAAL-CBPA is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/en\/grants\/caal-cbpa-research-grant\/\">Collaborative Research Grant<\/a> \u2013 <strong><strong>Courtney Vienneau, Nicole Marcoux, and Nicole Slipp.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p><br><p><img decoding=\"async\" pl-media-id=\"2710\" src=\"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Courtney_Vienneau_sm1.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of Courtney Vienneau\">\u00a0\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" pl-media-id=\"2711\" src=\"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Nicole-Marcoux_sm1.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of Nicole Marcoux\">\u00a0\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Nicole-Slipp2_sm1.jpg\"><br><br>Courtney Vienneau, Liaison Librarian, Shannon School of Business &amp; Copyright Librarian, Cape Breton University Library; Nicole Marcoux, Academic Librarian, Acadia University; and Nicole Slipp, Librarian for Business, Humanities, &amp; Languages, University of New Brunswick, have been awarded $1,000 to help support their project, <em>Business database subscriptions at CAUL-CBUA member libraries and their alignment with institutional values<\/em>.<\/p><br><br><p>In their proposal, Courtney, Nicole, and Nicole propose to investigate business-related database subscriptions in the Canadian context, factors influencing these subscriptions, and alignment with institutional values and other critical alignments.<\/p><a href=\"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/en\/grants\/caal-cbpa-research-grant\/\"><br><\/a><br><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/caal-cbpa.ca\/en\/grants\/caal-cbpa-research-grant\/\">CAAL-CBPA Collaborative Research Grant<\/a> is intended to encourage collaborative research by librarians and staff working in academic libraries in the region through projects which involve structured, evidence-based research.
